Join the People’s Court 14 October, London
Dr Lisa Hutchinson
In a recently recorded video, Nicholas Martin, Chairman of ACHES (Adult Child Health and Environmental Support) tells us about two fascinating things that have gone on in our society, and should have been stopped by the courts in order to protect public health. As it has not been stopped by the regular courts, ACHES has decided to set up a People’s Court in order to get these issues aired. It is important people know the serious nature of what has happened in these two instances.
The first case relates to 5G planning applications and the erection of telecom masts. If you are a telecommunications company and you want to erect a 5G mast, you have to apply for planning permission. You have to issue a certificate to say that the radiation emitted from the mast complies with the guidelines that relate to the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection or ICNIRP. This organisation has set a guidance of 1 milliwatt of power per square centimetre of area (1 mW/cm2) as being an acceptable radiation level. Nothing higher than this level should be emitted from any erected equipment if people are to be protected.
What ACHES has discovered is that masts all over the country have been approved by local authorities and they were approved when telecoms companies submitted a certificate for protection of public health in the name of a company that does not exist. When the company did exist it was dissolved in 2015, and this company was not involved in telecommunications at all. Thus, it was never in a position to guarantee that a mast would comply with the safety guidance levels. This is absolutely scandalous. ACHES had reported this to different Chief Constables, we also referred it to the Independent Office of Police Conduct and also to a Police and Crimes Commissioner. Absolutely nothing was done. It is therefore very important that we explain all these details in our People’s Court to raise awareness.
The second case relates to the traffic monitoring equipment that has been installed all around the country. If we take London, for example, and TfL (Transport for London), they have installed equipment that is comprised of lidar equipment, which is infrared radiation, and radar equipment. The lidar unit emits radiation 21,500 times above the ICNIRP 1 mW/cm2 safety level. ICNIRP itself has said that infrared light causes damage to human eyesight.
There are two radar units in this type of equipment and includes a Heimdall radar detector. There was a court case and the judge held that TfL did not include lidar or radar units in the traffic monitoring equipment, and only had visible light automatic number plate recognition (ANPR). Nicholas made a freedom of information request completely separate from this court case, and asked TfL how many Heimdall radar units had they installed. TfL wrote back to Nicholas and said they had installed 10,764 Heimdall radar units. This is scandalous that a court of law can say that TfL has not installed these units, and yet TfL replied in a FOI request that they have installed 10,764 of these units.
So our courts are completely failing the public on the grounds of protecting public health. For these collective reasons, this is why we want to hold an independent court, which will disclose the truth in the public domain. We are holding this People’s Court in London on Wednesday 14 October. Tickets to attend cost £25 and the venue will be announced nearer the time to those who purchase tickets. We hope you can attend the People’s Court and hear more about these facts, and support a means .
