Technology Revolution has Begun – ACHING for a Better Society
Dr Lisa Hutchinson
On various ACHES Blogs and Substack postings, we have celebrated our like-minded partners and collaborators for sharing initiatives, and taking action against the ongoing technocracy that is tightening its grip on humanity. On this occasion, we want to say a big thank you to Patricia Burke on behalf of Safe Tech International for highlighting some of the campaigns ACHES has undertaken regarding the UK Parliamentary Consultation on smart meters.
Since its inception, ACHES has sent letters to every council planning authority across England to formally notify them of their responsibilities regarding mast applications, as well as the health risks associated with wireless radiation. Notably, smart meters operate on pulsed microwave radiation, and many scientific papers have shown that there are deleterious effects of such radiation on human health. The government relies on ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) in relation to public safety. ACHES has focused its attention on the limitations of ICNIRP, an independent organisation that the UK government relies upon in relation to the health effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF). However, there is a plethora of data showing the harmful effects of pulsed radiation, and we have emphasized that ICNIRP guidance is inadequate in terms of its safety thresholds for so-called manmade radiofrequency radiation (RFR).
The most important message is that EMFs from wireless technologies is a chronic environmental toxin, alongside pesticides, plastics and air pollutants. Concerningly, children are especially vulnerable because of their thinner skulls, more absorbent brain tissue and developing nervous systems. Furthermore, there is no mention in the literature of any definitive proven ‘safe distance’ from one or more wireless ‘smart meters’ for humans or animals; similarly, there are no safe exposure levels in terms long-term exposure to such radiation. Many have criticized ICNIRP guidelines considering them as flawed, and are not applicable to long-term exposures at lower levels than used in their cited studies. The guidelines are predicated on misguided assumptions using outdated exposure metrics that do not adequately protect adults, children or the public from exposure to RFR or people with sensitivity to EMF from wireless devices or systems. There are scientific explanations for why people become electrohypersensitive: non-ionizing radiation from wireless communication leads to oxidative cell stress, which is a known precursor of cancer and other inflammatory conditions.
Medical procedures can utilize EMFs and metallic implants (such as in dental fillings, pacemakers, metal devices used in replacements) and which may alter or perturb EMFs in the body, which in turn can have both direct and indirect deleterious health effects on human health. Of concern is that RFR–EMF might also interfere with electrical equipment, and may cause such devices to malfunction. It is acknowledged that metallic nanoparticulates have been included in vaccines for many years, and also in dental anaesthetics. Moreover, many millions of people have metal fillings, dental implants and/or metallic components in their bodies. These particulates are known to interact with wireless EMFs in ways that raise serious concerns to health. ICNIRP confirms that such interactions are outside the scope of its guidelines. Therefore, the public needs to be fully informed of the ICNIRP comments regarding pacemakers and other metal devices. In the UK, USA, Canada and other countries, many thousands of people have complained that they have experienced illness and debilitating symptoms, as well as severe sleep disturbances soon after newly installed smart meters.
As Nicholas Martin, Chair of ACHES explains: “ACHES sent letters to the 338 local planning authorities in England who approve cell tower/mast planning applications. We have made those letters available on our website under the Councils and Planning section – so that they can be used by other organisations or individuals who wish to object to such mast applications”. More recently, ACHES has been involved in working on consultations from the UK central government regarding notifying them of the harms caused by smart meters and why we oppose digital ID. Nicholas continues: “a huge proportion of the British population, perhaps the majority, fall outside the remit of ICNIRP and so must be considered accordingly in terms of health protection from microwave radiation, such as that emitted by smart meters.”
Another important aspect of our work at ACHES is to challenge local planning authorities on their adjudication of cell tower (5G mast) applications. By raising formal complaints with Councils, ACHES ensures this is brought into the public domain and helps to raise awareness of these issues. ACHES is an organisation, along with many others across the globe, that is providing the framework for a paradigm shift in objecting to local and central government measures that are unwittingly forced onto an unsuspecting public. We are ACHING for a better society that must unfold. Be part of the journey and follow us on Substack, and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
