ACHES was set up to promote, enhance and protect human and environmental wellbeing. ACHES provides a forum to raise awareness and advance the truth about legal, medical and scientific information relating to current and emerging technologies. In addition to our own Substack articles, each week ACHES will post “Weekly Picks” to highlight the most relevant news pieces from our partners and collaborators who are doing exceptional work in raising awareness of the health harms caused by such technologies, and also chronicle the much-needed solutions to enhance our health. This is our first “Weekly Pick”.

Protecting children from harmful online content
As many 16-year-olds in the UK this week celebrate their GCSE results, another article reminds us of the harsh realities of the dark side of social media and how online content can damage our youth. A hugely concerning charity report this week shows many teens face a "tsunami of damaging online content”. This is particularly pertinent because data show that in schools that removed the use of Smart phones, the latest GCSE exam results seem to have improved as a result of improved concentration resulting from this measure. Check out this article.
Continual calls for smartphones ban in schools
Even the mainstream media is exposing how ministers in England are now considering banning smartphones in schools, as a necessary step to protect children from the harms of social media. One Headteacher, Rachel Harper, at a school in County Wicklow, has launched a town-wide “no smartphone code” for children under the age of 12, and she spoke on This Morning, to discuss how successful this initiative has been. Another related article, on the BBC website, reveals how two fathers are seeking a judicial review to obtain government guidance as part of a campaign to ban smartphones in schools. This will enable children to focus on their education and to protect them from the predatory harms of unsafe online environments.
Safe Tech International: removing dirty electricity
Patricia posts prolifically on her Safe Tech International Substack and just this week has also highlighted numerous stories about the dangers of smartphones, but also how manmade electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are creating untold health issues, including altered brain function, loss of smell and other symptoms. Moreover, a movement is underway to create a law to protect copper analogue landlines as part of critical infrastructure for national and international security. See her latest post.
Latest news from Environmental Health Trust
ACHES supports the excellent work of the Environmental Health Trust, founded by Eileen O’Connor in 2001. This week she posted some excellent news stories, including how the EHT has filed a petition urging the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to comply with the 13 August 2021 court mandate (from 4 years ago) in relation to concerns about radiofrequency exposure guidelines. This petition is a super detailed document, but the extraordinary truth is that many countries have set their wireless radiation exposure to limits 10 times lower than the FCC limits – that should tell people something! See all the details on their website.

Friday 15 August Weekly Pick
CHD Website
A post this week in the Children’s Health Defense has highlighted how residents in a small town in Nevada have risen up against the plans of Verizon to build a cell tower near a school and nearby homes. The residents in Minden, Nevada, are suing their county for illegally approving an 80-foot Verizon cell tower near a primary school owing to the serious health concerns to residents. It is encouraging to ongoing pushback against these unethical planning policies. To view the full story, click here:
Business Updates on the horizon…
A recent item on the mega-merger and acquisition of large telecommunications companies has been announced with Vodafone Three now completing its £16.5 billion merger. The much speculated merger between Vodafone and Three has finally been confirmed and established and you can check some details of the company called "Vodafonethree Holdings Limited" (Company number 14903490) on Companies House. EE is part of British Telecom (BT). It is currently unclear how the sub-companies within this organisation will operate, but being aware of these mergers is important as it might affect ongoing telecoms planning and consultations.
The Online UN-Safety Bill
Much has been mentioned recently across a plethora of websites about concerns relating to the UK Online Safety Bill, which became operative in July 2025 as a censorship manoeuvre occurring globally. This Bill supposedly for our safety and disguised as benefiting mankind, in reality has disturbing implications and ramifications for freedom and humanity. I intentionally use the title UN-safe as this is of course all connected to the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the dystopian control of the population by insane oligarch globalists. A detailed summary of the excellent film by Mark Sharman that connected the dots for all this, and is titled “The Agenda: Their Vision, Your Future”
